Energy services consist in doing the client’s energy management through an integrated approach including all the energy aspects in relation with power.

Energy services include activities as energy consultancy, implementation of rational use of energy measures, project and sizing of on-site more efficient energy production systems (e.g. micro-cogeneration systems), energy systems maintenance, equipment leasing and project financing.

More than one century back, Thomas Edison built his first decentralized generation system near Wall Street. After one century, during which the power plants became bigger and bigger and the transmission networks more and more extended, on-site generation becomes to be reality with good expansion opportunities in the future.

Nowadays, micro-cogeneration is giving its first steps in Portugal and worldwide. Its development will be possible mostly thanks to the energy services companies, which promote the use of these new technologies.
