Introduction

ECOGEN is a decentralized energy services company for which the main activity is the promotion of micro-cogeneration projects (combined heat and power production), for the tertiary sector, small industry and domestic sector.

ECOGEN was founded as a result of a partnership between EDP, GALP POWER, SIIF ÉNERGIES (France) and ENERAMB Lda.

ECOGEN installs and maintains micro-cogeneration systems which are based on micro-turbines technology. ECOGEN has also the financing capacity to support the set up of this kind of projects.
